Scottish OT Cyber Summit 2027

The Scottish OT Cyber Summit, Thursday 4th March 2027, brings together operators of Critical National Infrastructure, essential-service providers, supply-chain partners and cyber-security leaders to address the growing risks facing operational technology (OT).

Recent attacks, including the disruption of a UK power-generation facility by state sponsored hackers, demonstrate that state-sponsored adversaries are increasingly targeting the systems that control physical operations — not just corporate IT networks. The consequences can affect safety, service continuity and national resilience.

With the UK Government fast-tracking the Cyber Security and Resilience Bill, organisations face stronger expectations around cyber protection, incident reporting to the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) and accountability for failures to secure operational infrastructure.

The Summit will explore practical approaches to OT Security, NCSC requirements, regulatory readiness, supply-chain risk, incident response and resilience planning. It is essential for every organisation that operates, supports or supplies technology and services into the UK’s essential services.
